ULTRASOUND SOLUTIONS CORP. is pleased to welcome back Dr. Cathie Scholl, RDMS, RVT, FSDMS, Associate Professor from the Cardiovascular Sonography Program at Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, Florida, for an informative session on visceral vascular imaging in the General Sonography Department.Â
Course Description:
All too often we encounter patients that complain of abdominal pain and the routine sonogram is negative for pathologies commonly associated with pain. Have you ever considered the cause of pain may be vascular in origin? Through a series of cases, this presentation will introduce conditions that resulted in compromised abdominal vascular circulation. (Approved for 1 SDMS CME credit, provided one is present for the entire event)
Course Objectives:Â Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant will be able to:
Discuss various vascular pathologies found in the abdomen
Identify hemodynamic changes associated with abdominal vascular pathologies
Describe diagnostic criteria for various conditions affecting the abdominal vasculature
About Our Speaker:
Cathie Scholl, DHSc, RDMS, RVT, FSDMS, is an experienced Sonographer and educator in multiple ultrasound specialties, including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, and Vascular imaging. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor within the Cardiovascular Sonography Program at Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, Florida. Cathie also volunteers for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Subject Matter Expert and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. In her free time, she works in an outpatient radiology facility and enjoys the beautiful Gulf Coast!
This activity is an approved SDMS CME activity – approved for 1.0 SDMS CME credit.

SDMSCME Tracker System.
Important update from the SDMS:
SDMS no longer allows its CME providers to issue Partial Credit for attendance. If you join late or leave early, the SDMS will no longer permit us to award partial pro-rated credit.
Therefore, from now on, in order to receive CME credit, you must be in attendance for the ENTIRE event via your own unique Zoom link that Zoom emailed to you when you registered. Then, and only then, will USC be able to award you any credit. So, please be prompt and attentive to the time schedule.
