Description
The Absorbable PDO Suture is a sterile, Monofilament, synthetic suture composed of Polydioxanone and the structure consists of monofilament. These sutures are particularly useful where the combination of an absorbable suture and extended wound support (up to six weeks) is desirable. Contraindications consist of the approximation of tissue under tension and the suturing of synthetic implants (i.e. vascular grafts and cardiac valves).
