Course Description:
This presentation will capture the audience, whether you are a student or a physician. Beginning with an overview of breast anatomy and the principles of ultrasound, the presentation delves into the diagnostic capabilities of ultrasound in detecting various breast conditions, with a spotlight on breast cancers and pathologies. Utilizing case studies and intriguing examples, the presentation showcases how ultrasound complements mammography, MRI, and clinical examinations in both screening and diagnostic settings. Highlighted are challenging and noteworthy cases where ultrasound played a pivotal role in early detection or characterization of breast lesions, emphasizing its role as a valuable tool in the armamentarium against breast cancer. About Our Speaker:
Jeanine Rybyinski, AAS, RDMS, RVT, is a staff sonographer at Atlantic Medical Imaging in Deptford, NJ. With over 23 years of dedicated experience in the field of diagnostic medical sonography, Jeanine has established a reputation as a highly skilled and knowledgeable sonographer specializing in General, Breast and Vascular Ultrasound. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient care and the advancement of ultrasound technology.
Jeanine is an active member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She has been recognized in her experience in Breast Imaging and has been invited to speak at numerous Regional, National and International conferences along with being published as coauthor in the 5th Edition of Diagnostic Medical Sonography textbook series. Through these engagements, she aims to share knowledge with fellow professionals and contribute to the ongoing development of sonographic practices. These affiliations allow her to stay updated on industry standards and innovations while networking with other professionals. With a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence in Sonography, Jeanine continues to make significant contributions to the field through both clinical practice and educational outreach in the sonographic community.

Important update from the SDMS:
SDMS no longer allows its CME providers to issue Partial Credit for attendance. If you join late or leave early, the SDMS will no longer permit us to award partial pro-rated credit.
Therefore, from now on, in order to receive CME credit, you must be in attendance for the ENTIRE event via your own unique Zoom link that Zoom emailed to you when you registered. Then, and only then, will USC be able to award you any credit. So, please be prompt and attentive to the time schedule.
