ULTRASOUND SOLUTIONS CORP. is pleased to introduce Vanessa Duran, BSHA, RDMS, Supervisor of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography, at Texas Children’s Hospital, for an informative session on how to maximize our diagnostic imaging skills.
Course Description:
High-quality ultrasound imaging is essential for accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care. This presentation will review the fundamental principles of image optimization, including proper transducer selection, depth/focal zone adjustments, gain optimization, image orientation, and artifact recognition. Participants will learn practical techniques to improve image quality, enhance diagnostic confidence, and maintain consistency across a variety of clinical applications. Through case examples and workflow considerations, attendees will gain strategies to boost imaging performance while promoting efficiency and best practices in daily scanning. (Approved for 1 SDMS CME credit, provided one is present for the entire event)

Vanessa Duran, BSHA, RDMS, is the Supervisor of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography at Texas Children’s Hospital where she oversees MFM ultrasound operations across multiple clinic locations. With more than 15 years of experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, she is passionate about advancing image quality, optimizing workflow efficiency, and supporting Sonographer professional development. Vanessa is committed to fostering a culture of excellence through education, collaboration, and continuous improvement to enhance both patient care and clinical outcomes.
This activity is an approved SDMS CME activity – approved for 1.0 SDMS CME credit.
Please note that partial credit will not be issued.
The CME participant roster will be reported by Ultrasound Solutions Corp. to the
SDMS CME Tracker System.
Important update from the SDMS:
SDMS no longer allows its CME providers to issue Partial Credit for attendance. If you join late or leave early, the SDMS will no longer permit us to award partial pro-rated credit.
Therefore, from now on, in order to receive CME credit, you must be in attendance for the ENTIRE event via your own unique Zoom link that Zoom emailed to you when you registered. Then, and only then, will USC be able to award you any credit. So, please be prompt and attentive to the time schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience, but again, this is a new SDMS policy we must abide by. Thank you for understanding.
